This Cookie Policy explains how Beotela (operated by Beotela OOD) uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as staying logged in). "Similar technologies" include local storage and pixels. Some are essential to make the site work; others are optional.

2. The cookies we use

The categories below reflect Beotela's known setup.

1. sb-<project>-auth-token — Category: Strictly necessary (auth) — Required: Yes — Lifetime: ~7 days, auto-rotated
2. beotela_lang — Category: Functional / preference — Required: No — Lifetime: ~1 year
3. beotela_currency — Category: Functional / preference — Required: No — Lifetime: ~1 year

Strictly necessary (always on — no consent required)

These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off.

• Authentication / session — keeps you securely logged in (e.g., Supabase auth session cookies, used for the admin area).
• Language & currency — remembers your chosen language and currency on the Beotela site (beotela_lang, beotela_currency).
• Security — supports login integrity and abuse prevention.

Analytics / performance

No GA, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Segment, Intercom, or any third-party scripts. Cormorant and other site fonts served without third-party tracking cookies. The in-app "Analytics" page is internal Supabase queries, no external service.

Affiliate / referral (optional — consent required)

• Referral tracking — if you arrive via an affiliate link, a cookie credits the referring affiliate for up to 90 days.

Third-party cookies

Some features rely on third parties (e.g., Stripe for secure payments) that may set their own cookies, governed by their privacy and cookie policies.

3. Your choices and consent

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies; strictly necessary cookies are always active. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie settings" link or banner.
